On the other hand, something like ‘save cash and get 50% more sales enquiries with our new deal’ is bound to make them sit up and take notice.

If you’re using the right keywords in your blog posts, you’ll start to see that your website ranks higher in search engine results pages. This doesn’t just happen by chance though, and you need to do your research. There are plenty of tools out there to help you.

Forget about the hard sell

A blog isn’t the place for the best sales spiel. It’s all about creating a relationship of trust with your target market, and establishing your business as a go-to resource in your field. It’s worth keeping this in mind whenever you’re creating a new post.

Put together a content strategy

It’s easy to run out of steam when it comes to writing blog posts, and with other business tasks fighting for your time, your blog could end up being neglected. The best way to avoid this is by putting together a content strategy. Brainstorm ideas for posts, and make sure that you put aside enough time each week to get them completed.
